Indelible-Security-Ink Ribbons For Impact Laundry/ID/Form Printers
General
In general, these printer ink ribbons are made from woven fabrics and impregnated with a variety of high performance inks for a variety of applications and environments.
For some applications, [e.g., ID printing of special materials (tyvek, mylar)], the ink
dries quickly, and the ribbon is highly resistant to smearing, bleeding, fading or running when exposed to uv light, weathering or solvent.
For others, especially where a combination of indelibility and fluorescene of a
security feature is key, the ink formulation for printing on documents (such as
railway tickets) is different. It promotes the appearance of an indelible, tamper-evident bleed-through dye image that fluoresces & becomes visible under uv light
on the reverse side of a document.
Applications (Laundry & Others)
* Laundry identification, and material information. For example, in:
- garment labeling, stating content & care instructions.
- wet strength laundry tag applications
* Tag printing (key, tyre, inventory, warranty, etc)
* Other wet-strength paper applications [e.g., wrist labels on hospital patients,
labels for aqueous (fluid) preservatives in museums]
* Specially coated plastic or non-porous film (mylar polyester, tyvek, makrofol
polycarbonate, melinex, tedlar, polyimide, kapton, destructible vinyl, etc)
applications, such as:
- decals, labels, instrument panels, trade show displays
- circuit board labeling, electronic component identification, cable & wire
identification and other labeling applications where self-extinguishing properties,
chemical & abrasive resistance, superior protection against UV light and
waterproof characteristics are required
* Index card paper applications
* Ticketing & Receipting
* Printing/typing names on cheques, tender documents, commercial/technical
bids and other valuable documents.

1. Laundry labels, tags and tickets produced using our ribbons and media are ideal for
use by dressmakers, hospitals, linen services/hire/rental businesses, textile
manufacturers, school shops and nursery homes for industrial/staff/school
uniforms, sports wear, upholstery, name tags, etc.
2. If you are using a wet strength paper to label (identify, inform, or warn the public
about) a natural history museum wet collection/specimen, a high cotton - content
grade is suggested
