* A high quality, low moisture uncoated security paper.
* Manufactured ISO 9001-2000 quality standard
* Contains a range of chemicals that highlight any attempt to alter a document using
acids, alkalis, polar & non-polar solvents, ink eradicators or bleaches by producing
a highly visible coloured reaction in the altered area. In other words, amongst
others, the paper is chemically reactive & tamper-evident. Spots or stains will
appear locally if chemicals (brake fluids, nail polish removers, gasoline, kerosine,
paint thinners, turpentine, acetone, etc) are used in an attempt to alter or tamper
with the details of an original document.
* Used for Cheques & other security documents
* Suitable for optical mark recognition OMR), optical character recognition (OCR),
and magnetic ink character recognition (MICR) encoding.
Prodata CBS2
* For non-cheque, general purpose transactional security applications. For example
bank giro credits, credit/debit vouchers, data mailers, prescriptions, betting slips,
raffle tickets, money transfer & other informational/data processing paper
documents.
* Available in two grades: CBS2 UV Dull & CBS2 Laser Bright
* Extensive & unique range of machine readable paper grades
* Suitable for optical mark recognition (OMR), optical character recognition (OCR),
and magnetic ink character recognition (MICR) encoding.
Other Features
1. For CBS1 & CBS2 UV Dull Papers
* One-part form paper, compatible with several printing & finishing processes
* These papers do not reflect UV light because they are UV Dull. In other
words, they show no fluorescence or brightness when exposed to UV light.
[However, if printed with a fluorescent/UV ink/toner, the print/image will
fluoresce and show under UV light]
* They are made from 100% elemental chlorine free (ECF) woodpulps.
* Covert & overt - coloured silurian & UV detectable - fibres are woven into the
papers during or after manufacture. The use of embedded fibres or 'windowed'
threads in both papers depends on application and the extent of security
required. Note that (a) uv fibres cannot not seen under normal light (b) optional
fibre & fluorescent colours, may be green/blue, blue/red, green/red.
