nMarkOne IR & UV Fluorescent Ink For Epson & Some Piezo Head Inkjet Printers

nMarkOne is a family of digital UV & infra-red inkjet inks (with dye & pigment options) developed for document security and the special effect industries (including packaging).  It is an enhanced fade-resistance security formulation, offering invisible ink colours, fluorescence, and vibrancy that together make it suitable for medium to long term indoor/outdoor document applications where the exposure of fine design details can be of immense advantage.

• nMarkOne is formulated and optimised for piezo-based printers (Epson & others).
• Prints made by these inks are invisible to the naked eyes under normal light, but become visible when aided by exposure to UV light or Infra-Red source.
  
• The nMarkOne ink family is a standard for invisible inkjet ink printing. It sets & locks into the surface of a substrate, protecting prints from abrasion/damage. Besides, it has excellent weather-ability and can be over-laminated without change to its output to ensure optimal colour and finish.
• It is designed to allow the user to combine a range of standard and custom security elements (watermarks, control/audit codes, key patterns, etc) that make documents easy to protect and authenticate and to ensure originality of property ownership.
• It enables barcode tracking, invisible marking, anti-counterfeiting, and brand protection.
  For example, digital patterns (watermarks) can be created by carefully manipulating CMYK half-tone dot distribution and such patterns/marks will only become visible under modified camera lens or UV lamp.

Invisible UV Fluorescent Inks

• This range of inks have high stability, and usually would not require shaking to perform. Each emits outstanding fluorescence within their respective visibility wavelengths, with excitation around 365nm.  Their prints are smudge-free, crisp, sharp and durable, with long-term performance and excellent adhesion of text & graphics to a substrate.  There are seven colours (w, c, m, y, lc, lm & green) for Epson printers [where white (w) is for k]
  

Invisible Infra-Red (NIR) Fluorescent Ink

• This is a high security ink, designed for the Near-IR range, smudge-free, and visible only under IR-light or IR enabled digital cameras or camcoders - detection starting from 750 - 800nm approximately.
• nMarkOne invisible infrared (NIR) ink for Epson printers fluoresces infrared illumination at close to 830nm wavelength.
  
• The ink colour is black under optically filtered cameras or such modified devices, but is crystal clear within the range of visibility wavelengths. It cannot be seen with a UV light or by the naked eyes alone.
  

Both nMarkone ink types are water-based, and compatible to a wide range of substrates & printers suitable for a vast array of applications.

Some customers use these inks separately or in combination to create an hybrid of multi-layer security for their documents/labels/products.
