• Our range of resin ribbons for security holograms is designed & formulated to produce outstanding standard/customer-specific overt images known as DOVIDs (diffractive optical variable image devices).  These DOVIDs produce unique dynamic motion (colour shifting) patterns on films/labels, upon exposure to light & reflection. Like rainbow transmission mounted on a reflective surface, the colour shifting patterns are irreproducible.  That's the beauty! They cannot be replicated by scanners, copiers, or standard printing techniques; thus making the patterns a single source of security and overt authentication for the brand or products or labels/packagings on which they are applied.   
  
• All our three ribbons can be used separately or in combination to provide additional layer(s) of document/product/ label security.  Besides, they are incredibly easy & low-cost solutions to implement & validate - by individuals and small or large organisations - wishing to maintain their document security integrity by printing in-house, digitally and on-demand.
• Compatibility: suit some near-edge and all flat-head printers with speeds up to 150mm/s.  Our ribbons in combination with these printers offer the user an endless opportunity to create unique & distinct security images, since any image that can be printed with a thermal transfer ribbon can (for example) be rendered invisible.

  Visible UV Fluorescent Thermal Transfer Ribbons

• Ultra smear-, heat-, scratch-, solvent-, and abrasion resistant monochrome all-resin ribbons formulated with security features that print visible black in daylight, but fluoresce brightly in yellow or green or blue when exposed to ultra violet light.
• This range of ribbons delivers a layer of overt/covert security for product & brand protection. unique identification, anti-counterfeiting, and low-cost product or service authentication.
• Applications. Suitable for:
  - Indoor & outdoor labelling (of high-value documents, chemical drums, sea containers, difficult -to-reach
    hardware machinery parts, etc)
  - Transaction document printing (ticketing, tagging, receipting, etc)
  - Package printing (of films, foils, papers*, and cloth).
  In addition to its UV fluorescence security element, this range typically enable the imprinting of overt logos, barcodes, track & trace messages, etc, onto security documents and authentication labels (monographs, prescriptions, cheques, ID cards, satin shoe label, nylon taffeta uniform labels, satin acetate mattress labels)  as in the printing of any variable data/image that is printable by any thermal transfer printer at speeds up to 152mm/s.

  Why these ribbons? They aid tampered & cloned document detection via UV or colour shifting. Counterfeiters are not able to create thermal transfer ink ribbons in the exact hue of the colour of the print from our ribbons. So, this means our UV & Holographic thermal transfer ribbons make your property even more secure and authentic.
